PostSubject: Dota 2 freeze 
So since yesterday im having this problem : whenever i open dota 2 it freezes my whole computer (i cant CTRL ALT DEL i cant ALT TAB nothing and i have to reboot) . Before dota went very good , but after the last patch it kinda fucked things up

My system specs :
Intel i3 , 8GB ram , Geforce 310M 1GB

No spec issues, prolly is just the patch problem, keep trying, the problem will eventually solve itself I believe... look out for other answers too...

Try opening your task manager then initiate your DoTA 2 from Steam, what is the memory usage given off by DoTA2.exe?

i can't open task manager or anything else
as soon as i start dota 2 my computer freezes and doesn't respond to anything
ALT TAB , CTRL ALT DEL all fail
only manual reboot works

i have a simmilar problem but only the game freezes i van do other stuff but the game wont ever un-freezes

i have noticed that it happens when the memory usage goes over 970.000kb

my system specs are:

AMD Phenom(tm) II X6 1055T 2.8ghz
3gb ram
ATI Radeon HD 5800
windows 7

1st troubleshoot the dota2 from steam say that it doesn't display well to get that vista aero off
2nd make it works for another operating system such as windows xp
3rd go in catalyst (i supose this is the software from you video card) and go on maximum performance

try !
