As you already know, D2P is doing regular Dota 2 giveaways for the last 3 months. This time, in the light of the recent and upcoming events, we have decided to make a special 10th giveaway for you. So, instead of the usual Dota 2 bundles and items, we have decided to obtain and give 1 International 2013 Compendium, a few days ago!
But after some time, we have realized that the project can be leveled up over our Dota 2 Lore show, to bring even more support to the community and the upcoming tournament. A few days ago, we have published a donation page, where you can donate a humble amount to receive a special Dota 2 Lore bundle, while these donations would be used to obtain more International 2013 Compendiums! I would like to say a big thanks to all who have donated!
Instead of 1, D2P community will receive 3 Compendiums!
With more than 200,000 views on our Lore videos and thousands of supportive feedback, we believe that this is the perfect project for Dota 2 Portal, to give our own 2 cents for the community and the upcoming International 2013!
Every Lore video has at least 20 questions regarding the drawings used in the video; and we have finally decided to publish them online, for those who decide to join this project. The idea behind it is rather simple; basically, we will create an option for you to donate a symbolic amount to the Lore Fund Poll which will then be used to acquire dozens, if not hundreds of the International 2013 Interactive Compendium which will be given away to random members of the Dota 2 Portal community!
Those who decide to donate, no matter the amount, will receive a special Lore Bundle – HQ scans of the pictures used in the Lore videos signed by D2P.Nexus & Sairex, a link to the „Dota 2 Lore - Behind the scenes” video and a place in the credits in our next videos. Sounds pretty cool, right?
This is the best thing we can do to support the game, Valve, International 2013 and of course, the Dota 2 community, so please, share this page with your friends and on your favorite gaming forums! We need your help to spread this project around, so big thanks in advance!

"The International returns once again this summer to Seattle with a five day Main Event, starting on August 7th.
The first team invited to The International are the returning champions, Invictus Gaming. Twelve more teams will be announced over the coming days. Just like in last year’s event, the winners of the East and West Qualifiers will each receive an invite. As you’ve probably noticed, that only adds to 15 teams. Right before The International begins, the Wild Card event will determine the final spot in a match between the runner-ups of each qualifier.
The West Qualifier will be hosted by GDStudio from May 13th through the 19th and the East Qualifier by BeyondTheSummit from May 20th through the 26th. All matches will also be available for free through DotaTV.
For those interested in attending in person, we will be providing more info soon."

During the starting registration phase, we have gathered 10 EU and 2 US teams. Schedule of this 4fun tournament will be published once all teams register, but we can tell you the following:
Tournament will last for 1 week. EU tournament will be played first, and then the US tournament will be played the next week.
First round will have 8 matches, (8-finals). 50% of those matches will be played one day, and the next part will be played on the 2nd day.
After that, we will have a day off.
The day after, we will play 50% of the matches from quarter finals. The next day, rest of the matches.
After that, we will have a day off.
Last day, semi-finals and grand finals.
For example, Monday and Tuesday will be reserved for the 8-finals, Thursday and Friday for 4-finals and Sunday for semi-finals and grand finals. That way, we will be able to do the whole tournament in only one week. We are talking about the evening hours and we will do our best to schedule our matches so they don't interfere with some important and big tournament.
Anyway, gather your team and make sure that you register for the first AR tournament and of course, to have fun!
